So when your mechanic tells you that "as a friend" he advises you NOT to fix your van, is that a sign that it's time to send it to the van graveyard? This really stinks, by the way, since it's paid off. ::Sigh:: If anyone knows of a cheap, low miles van for sale, pass it on!
Car troubles are the worst! So sorry...that is definatly not the kind of news you want to hear. On the flip side.....with the car industry in the dumps...it might be a great time to find a good deal! Research what you want on-line and see what used car dealers have that they actually have had for a while and are trying to get rid of. We are a Honda family so we only looked at the Honda Vans and found one that was used that had been sitting on a lot for some time and they really wanted to get rid of it...they took our old trade at an amazing price because we were willing to walk away if we could not make a deal we could afford. In the end...it all worked out nicely for us.
