More October Break

Boy did we learn our lesson. Jason and I are trying to make this "Staycation" really fun for the kids this year, so we have tried to plan something fun to do every day. Monday was the zoo. Tuesday we went to the $2 theatre to see "Up" and then did something we never do, took the entire family out to dinner at a nice restaurant and let them order whatever they wanted. Expensive, but fun. Wednesday we did family pics at the park, and today we just rented a couple of movies from Redbox and made homemade pizza. Well, the lesson was that tonight's pizza making extravaganza, with Hannah and Claire doing the sauce and toppings and Grace and Olivia doing the cheese, was apparently the most fun thing we have done besides the zoo! And WOW was it cheaper than going out to eat. Ok, lesson learned. (It was really fun. Too bad nobody seems to think it will be as fun to clean it all up!)
