I have been reading a lot lately, thanks to my discovery of a more conveniently located library that enables me to NOT be late returning everything and practically paying for it.
So, 2 things:
#1, I would love some book recommendations from any and all readers of my blog. I seem to do better that way than when I venture out on my own; and,
#2, would anyone be interested in reading reviews on what I do read?
Just wondering.

ReplyDeleteI enjoy book reviews and recommendations. I also like to know what NOT to read. IE: Don't read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Too much sexual, gross stuff. I only got 1/3 of the way in and tossed it. So... looking forward to your picks and thoughts.

Give me a book type, and I can make suggestions--otherwise, as Jon will confirm, my default book suggestions all have blood in the title (don't go there..) or with LM turning one, she and I daily read the alphabet book.... btw, when are we going out to eat? We missed you when we did dessert the other night--Marlene :)

ReplyDeleteI'm a real non-reader in a book club, so although I may not have personally read many books lately, my book club has. The last one I read was FABULOUS, but hard to get at the library. It was The Help. Check out my book club's blog for other good reads. Feel free to post--we love an "outsider's" perspective. :)
