I love a quick and easy recipe for those nights you do not want to make dinner but have to anyways. It took some research and ingenuity on my part (lol) to come up with an alternative to my favorite beef stroganoff recipe, but I must say, this does the trick. And some day, I may actually take a picture of the food I talk about here before we eat it all, but alas, today is not that day.
Cook 1 - 1 1/3 boxes of whole wheat rotini noodles
While water is boiling, brown one pkg Yves meatless ground with 1/2
onion, garlic salt and pepper.
Make mushroom sauce packet from Sprouts according to directions.
Stir 2 Tbsp cornstarch into 1/4 c cold water, then add to finished
mushroom sauce and heat through. Add about 2 tsp Wercestershire sauce.
Drain noodles and stir meatless ground and mushroom sauce into
noodles, along with 1 container non dairy sour cream.
Mmmmm....
